In a unexpected crossover event that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the official statement, "A mysterious encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden cult.
The questline focuses on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
